Common Questions

A few answers to help you feel more comfortable taking the first step.

How do I make an appointment?

To schedule an appointment, please call me at 202-847-5083 or email me at Rsradley@gmail.com. In case I am not available to answer your call, please leave a message in my confidential voicemail with your name and a phone number where I can reach you. I answer my calls personally, usually on the same day. Please do not include sensitive personal or clinical information in email.

How long is a session?

Sessions are 50 minutes long and by appointment only.

When are appointments available?

I work Monday through Friday and evening hours are available.

Do you accept insurance?

As a licensed clinical psychotherapist, my services may be eligible for reimbursement through your out-of-network mental health benefits. Please contact your insurance company to verify your coverage and reimbursement eligibility.

How is payment handled?

Payment for each session is made directly to me at the time of service. I will provide you with a receipt (superbill) that includes the appropriate diagnosis and CPT code, which you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement according to your plan’s out-of-network benefits.

Will my insurance reimburse me?

Please note that reimbursement is determined by your insurance company and is subject to the terms of your individual plan.

What are your fees?

Please contact me to discuss current fees.

Is therapy confidential?

Patient–therapist communication is confidential. Information is disclosed with your written consent, except when disclosure is required by law. We can discuss confidentiality and its limits in our work together.

How long will I be in therapy?

Treatment can be short- or long-term, depending on your needs. We can discuss your concerns and what an appropriate course of therapy might look like.

Do you work with people from different cultures?

Yes. I have extensive experience with people from diverse multicultural backgrounds, including expatriates, international families, and bi-cultural couples. Therapy is available in English and Spanish.
